Bilia's facility in Kungsbacka needed to upgrade the lighting for its car parks and we were trusted to plan, deliver and install the solution.
The starting point was a total of 73 columns in heights of 4m and 8m, equipped with 73 SON luminaires. 47 at the back and 26 at the front of the plant. The light sources were of traditional type and therefore very inefficient in terms of energy consumption and demanding in terms of maintenance. Here Castellum saw an opportunity to make significant savings by investing in our offer of sustainable technology that is both energy efficient and virtually maintenance free.
We came up with a solution where all the post luminaires were replaced by HERCULES S 36W. Thanks to efficient light distribution and modern, energy-efficient technology, significant savings were made while productivity and accessibility in the area were significantly improved thanks to natural colour rendering and high uniformity of lighting.
