Advanced lighting for safety and productivity
During the expansion of the port, we were commissioned to develop a lighting solution for the new part of the area. In September 2023, our fitters were on site to install four lighting masts measuring 24 meters. The masts were equipped with circumferential brackets that enabled the installation of a total of 32 1000 W floodlights, with eight floodlights at the top of each mast.
The installed lighting is designed to provide optimal working light under normal conditions, where less than half of the light capacity is used. If required, the illuminance can be easily increased at the click of a button, improving the working environment and increasing productivity in the port. This flexibility in lighting ensures that work can be carried out efficiently regardless of the time of day or weather conditions.
The result
With the new lighting solution, the Port of Drammen has further strengthened its position as a modern and efficient logistics hub. Our installation contributes to improved safety and productivity, which in turn benefits both the port's customers and improves the working environment for those who work there.
