Lötens IP (Lötens idrottsplats) is a football facility in Löten in eastern Uppsala in Uppsala County. It is located between Vattholmavägen, Diöshallen and Uppsala Mosque. The facility has been equipped with a heated artificial grass pitch since 2008, which is why IK Sirius has used the pitches for matches in the Swedish Cup and other spring matches.
In 2014, there were no permanent stands, but that didn't stop 3,000 Upsaliens from watching the Sirius-Djurgården match in the Swedish Cup in March 2014.
In addition to football, Sweden has played an international student football match against Great Britain at Löten.
Mission
Here we have calculated the light, delivered foundations, masts and floodlights with controls. We have also carried out assembly, fine-tuning of the floodlight angles and light measurement. In this particular case, the luminaire angles would be between 10-15 degrees and the illuminance to be achieved was 400 lux Emed.
Solution
The facility currently consists of a total of 30 modern LED floodlights. 24 PRECISION 3 1500W and 6 PRECISION 2 1000W. The floodlights are mounted in 6 x 18 m high LIGHT MAST with a bottom dimension of 690 mm.
Of course, the masts are firmly mounted on the market's lightest prefabricated concrete foundation for lighting columns, V-FUNDAMENT. The customer has also chosen to equip the masts with original accessories such as climbing protection and fuse boxes from STRIHL.
Because the luminaires come with DALI drivers as standard, we have been able to offer the customer a smart control system from LeadingLight. A control system that makes it possible to control the lighting according to need - the presence sensor detects when there is activity in the area and can then increase the lighting from a low level to a high level. With IQ you have the opportunity to save up to 80% energy.
IQ boxes from LeadingLight control LED luminaires equipped with DALI drivers. The controllers communicate with each other via a wireless radio network and only need to be connected to electricity. Basic light and detection light are individually adjusted in each IQ Box. The smart lighting system selects which luminaires should be switched on in different scenarios to achieve maximum safety, security and optimized light levels at the right time.
Result
The lighting was just as expected and the system gives the club great flexibility thanks to the control system. Energy consumption is low in this context and the light lands where it is most useful, with brilliant uniformity.
