Sparbanken Wictory Center is a floorball arena in the eastern parts of Varberg, at Håsten and Österleden. The arena was opened in 2010.
An energy efficient upgrade
During the upgrade of the Wictory Center, all fluorescent fixtures across the three floors were replaced with significantly more energy-efficient LED ECHO series fixtures. This upgrade has not only improved the lighting and atmosphere in the hall, but has also brought significant benefits to the community and the environment.
- Energy efficiency: By switching to LED luminaires, the customer has achieved energy savings of around 60% in the facility. The new LED luminaires are significantly more energy efficient than traditional fluorescent tubes, which has significantly reduced power consumption.
- Long lifespan: LED luminaires have not only reduced energy costs, but also have a longer lifespan compared to traditional fluorescent tubes. This has resulted in significant savings in maintenance costs over time, as you no longer need to spend money on maintenance as often.
- Reduced electricity costs: by reducing power consumption, electricity costs are also significantly reduced.
- Sustainability: Another important aspect is that the reduced power consumption helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
This upgrade is an excellent example of how we strive to improve and optimize lighting installations, while minimizing the environmental impact.
