The go-kart track in Andebu stretches over 1027 meters and offers a fast-paced driving experience with both straights, curves and height differences - a course for both beginners and experienced drivers.
We were commissioned to design and deliver a lighting solution that guarantees at least 110 lux in average illuminance, with a focus on uniformity and minimal glare. The goal was to create optimal conditions for driving even in the dark.
The balance between brightness, uniformity and glare control required careful lighting calculations. Curves and elevations placed high demands on positioning and aiming to ensure good visibility without disturbing drivers.
The solution consists of ten Swedish-made 18-metre masts equipped with 24 spotlights from the 1200 W EXACT series. The customer provided the installation, while we fine-tuned each spotlight on site to optimize the light pattern. The result was an energy-efficient installation that offers several tangible benefits:
